Mass Counts

According to the established policy approved in 1997 by the Presbyteral Council, Bishop Cahill has maintained the practice that a Mass Attendance Count be conducted in every parish and mission throughout the diocese during the months of May and October.

Please complete the count as accurately as possible in a manner suitable to each parish and mission.  It should take place in all parishes and missions where public Masses are celebrated. 

There are two ways to report the results:

1. On the right side of this page are two options for the traditional form for recording the count for each weekend Mass.  There is the standard ‘download and print format,’ as well as a ‘fillable’ one.  When the month is concluded and the form is complete, simply fax (361-827-7176), mail or email the results to the Chancery (bortmann@victoriadiocese.org).
2. Utilizing the format below, enter the necessary information and submit online.
