Steps to complete in the application process:
1. Submit a letter of interest and resumé to local school and/or Office of Catholic Schools.
2. Complete application process and return application, with accompanying forms, i.e., references, etc., to local school and/or Office of Catholic Schools.
3. Provide copies of all transcripts. (Note: If you are hired, you will be expected to provide original transcripts.)
4. Eligible candidates will be scheduled for an interview.
5. Applications remain on file for one year.
*MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR TEACHING POSITIONS IN THE DIOCESE OF VICTORIA:
Bachelor’s degree
12 credit hours in education or a valid, appropriate state certificate
In departmentalized settings, the degree should be in the content area or appropriate state certificate, or 18 credit hours in the content area taught
Technology proficiency

Position for Principal – Bishop Garriga Middle Preparatory School
Bishop Garriga Middle Preparatory School is seeking applicants for the position of principal beginning the
2010-11 academic year. The school serves approximately two hundred ten students in a Sixth through Eighth Grade setting. Potential candidates must possess a Master’s Degree in Educational Administration or its equivalent, have at least three years of successful teaching experience, and be a practicing Catholic. Teaching/administrative experience in a Catholic school is preferred. Interested applicants are to submit their résumé to:

Principal of St. Gerard Catholic High School
San Antonio, Texas
St. Gerard Catholic High School is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Principal beginning with the 2010 – 2011 school year. With an enrollment of approximately 110 students the school is fully accredited through the Texas Catholic Conference Education Department (TCCED). Located in the heart of San Antonio near downtown, St. Gerard enjoys a faith-filled environment with a rich history. At an exciting time in the school’s 80 year history, the successful candidate will have an opportunity to bring cutting edge educational theory to reality while implementing the International Baccalaureate Program.
Qualifications:
· Catholic in good standing with a commitment to ongoing formation in catechetical and spiritual leadership development
· Master’s degree with 18 credit hours in educational administration and supervision courses or a valid, appropriate state certificate
· 3 to 5 years secondary administrative school experience, preferably in a Catholic School setting
Special Skills and Abilities:
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Curriculum development and enhancement skills
· Budgeting and financial management skills
· Excellent organizational skills
· Long-range strategic planning experience
· International Baccalaureate Program experience preferred
· Demonstrated ability at working with multiple constituencies within
a parish and school community

· Familiarity with physical plant management and operations
