The Diocese of Victoria is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Administrative Assistant to the Bishop. Responsibilities include: maintain Bishop’s calendar/schedule; greet visitors and answer telephone; process incoming and outgoing mail; complete yearly reports; answer correspondence; coordinate office meetings and record meeting minutes; maintain files; and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications include: being a practicing Catholic in good standing; two to three years related experience and/or training; proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, and Outlook programs; trustworthy with highly sensitive confidential information; exceptional organizational and communication skills; possess a high degree of flexibility; ability to multi-task; and bi-lingual (English/Spanish) is highly preferred.
