Help needed for migrant women and children
About this time last year, the unaccompanied children and the women with children who had migrated from Central America were highlighted in the news. Churches responded to the need; the outpouring of generosity was heartening. This year there are fewer news reports and less attention to the situation, but the need is still there. Because the situation is not highlighted as it was before, far fewer donations are coming in. So the need is greater!
